Well, this is the last Friday before lockdown eases & the roadmap continues on it’s course…..Stage 2 is nearly here.
It’s truly exciting for everyone who can meet up with friends & family they haven’t seen in a long time, salons will be snipping away again, we can relax & have a drink in the pub garden, children’s indoor play areas are going to be alive & loud again, care home visitors increase to 2 & Gyms, Spas, Zoos & theme parks are once again going to be a hive of activity.
I can imagine that everyone in these industries have an exceptionally busy weekend ahead with finalising & arranging their indoor & outdoor areas, ensuring that they are all ready to welcome the public again. I for one can’t wait…..the hair appointment is already booked !
It was sad news today about the passing of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. At 99, he lived an extraordinary live & had unwavering love & support for his Queen & Country. You just need to look at the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme of which Prince Philip was the Founder & Patron of. The DofE charity has helped & supported so many young people to gain essential skills, experience, confidence & resilience to successfully navigate adult life & will certainly continue to do so in his honour.
