Job Description

We are pleased to be exclusively recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in Braintree. The company are market leaders within their industry & are looking for a proactive individual to join their friendly team & become an integral part of their busy Warehouse operation.

Working Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm (1 hour lunch). This is a permanent position within a company offering prospects & progression.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack and despatch sales orders in a timely manner
  • Ensure sales orders are despatched the same day that they are received
  • Ensure paperwork for orders are sent to the invoicing clerk for daily invoicing
  • Accurate completion of all paperwork for stock movements
  • Receive Goods In and check against supplier delivery notes
  • Replenish stock of finished goods from raw materials
  • Maintain and update the database
  • Update the Sales department when products are received
  • Advise Management of any reason an order is unable to be despatched the same day & of any stock shortages
  • Foresee potential issues within the department and be able to provide a solution & problem solve these issues to a satisfactory level
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the despatch and stock area
  • Ensure all end of day procedures are completed
  • Exercising high levels of customer service at all times
  • All duties carried out must adhere to company guidelines & procedures

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse/goods in/stock control experience
  • Forklift licence desirable
  • Logical & methodical work ethic
  • Proactive & problem solving nature
  • Confident, good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Organised, attention to detail, punctual & reliable
