CSG are currently recruiting for a confident & experienced Senior Finance Assistant to join a rapidly expanding business in Braintree.
You will oversee the smooth running of the department ensuring all accounts functions are completed, are carried out efficiently & accurately & that the team are hardworking & happy.
This is a very hands on role therefore you must be able to multitask as you will be carrying out a wide variety of duties from processing invoices to identifying training requirements & assisting with developing a team.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Raising supplier purchase orders
Daily input of purchase ledger
Supplier payment runs
Setting up suppliers and projects on Sage
Raising sales invoicing
Payroll, timesheets, calculating overtime
Various ad-hoc reconciliations
Answering emails and telephone calls, dealing with enquiries
Housekeeping on all ledgers
A good working knowledge of Sage 50 and MS Excel
