HR Advisor – 8 month maternity cover contract

We are recruiting for a HR Advisor/Administrator regarding a role in Maldon. This is for an 8 month fixed term contract working within a fabulous & busy team.

Monday to Friday 35 hours per week. Free car parking on site. 24 days annual leave + bank holidays, company sick pay scheme, workplace pension, staff discount, death in service

HR Advisor/Administrator Responsibilities

Advise the business in employee related matters in accordance with current employment law & company procedures

Take minutes of meetings, transcribe & produce for approval & signing

Produce invite & outcome letters for performance reviews, welfare reviews, investigations, disciplinaries & other employee related meetings

HR administration including starters, leavers, changes to employee information & contracts as required

Assist in administration of recruitment & selection of staff, advertising, responding to applications,  scheduling interviews

Work closely with the HR team & offer support across HR & Payroll

Demonstrate appropriate behaviours when dealing with colleagues & customers

HR Advisor/Administrator Requirements

Experience of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent organisation skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities

Ability to plan & prioritise your time effectively & aware of own responsibilities

Meet deadlines in accordance to standards and maintaining accuracy

Ability to work in a confidential environment, protecting information whilst respecting confidentiality
