We are pleased to be exclusively recruiting for our client in Colchester who are looking for a Part-time Accounts/Payroll Assistant to join their small and friendly team. Own transport is required due to the location of the company.
£21,000 – £23,000 per annum pro rata
Working 3 to 4 days per week – hours can be discussed.
You will have previous experience and knowledge in aspects of accounts and ideally have used Sage before.
The role will include but will not be limited to the following duties:
Processing employees on to Sage Payroll using Sage HR online portal for contracts, payslips and other functions
Managing the clocking-in system
Assisting in raising contracts of employment
Preparing and assisting in processing monthly payroll
Monthly bank reconciliations
Assisting with month end and daily cash flow
Supporting in producing year end packs for Auditors
Carrying out general daily transactions
Providing support with sales and purchase ledger as and when required
