We are pleased to be exclusively recruiting for an extremely busy company in Braintree who are looking for a confident & self-motivated Accounts Assistant to join their friendly & hardworking team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who would like to progress within their accounts career & utilise their existing skills & experience in a forward-thinking organisation.

To be successful in this role you MUST possess a Sage experience (ideally version 50) & have a good working knowledge of MS Excel.

Daily responsibilities include:

Carrying out all aspects of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger

Credit Control – chasing unpaid invoices & credit checking

Raising purchase orders

Processing invoices

Liaising with customers & suppliers

Supplier statement reconciliation

Accounts and office administration

Entering supplier invoices using Sage 50

Liaising with customers & suppliers

Essential:

Sage 50 system experience

A good working knowledge of Excel

Self-motivated

Task oriented

Attention to detail

Excellent communication skills
