We are pleased to be exclusively recruiting for an Accounts Administrator in the Colchester area. Due to a recent retirement, an opportunity has arisen within this well established and very friendly business. Based in the accounts department, my client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their team on a full-time basis.

Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:15pm (WFH currently)

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Providing support to a busy accounts team
  • Initially assisting in the Purchase Ledger functions
  • Gaining experience in all aspects of the accounts department
  • Assisting in the processing of invoices
  • Answering calls and dealing with enquiries
  • Accurate data entry on to the system
  • Full training and support will be provided

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Strong IT (Excel), numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Confident telephone manner with excellent customer service skills
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to work on own initiative
  • A methodical approach and taking responsibility for own work
  • Ability to work remotely – initially working from home due to Covid-19
