We hope you are all ok…….staying in, staying safe & staying sane !!

It’s crazy what we’re all going through right now & it’s an alien world that none of us have experienced before. I still feel like we’re living in a dream or a film, but this is real & is actually happening…..we’re part of history & I’m pleased to say that we are, as a family, doing all that we can to make sure that this passes as quickly as it was set upon us.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all key workers, especially everyone within the NHS, who are on the front-line and exposing themselves to the harshness & severity of the current pandemic. You are all amazing & we salute you……thank you so much. I have an absolute angel of a best friend who works at St Thomas’ Hospital in London & I can only imagine what she sees & deals with every day and night shift. Well done to you & your colleagues x

Emotions are running high for a lot of people right now – lots of you are working from home & trying to home-school (don’t pressure yourself on this because that is another job in itself) & there are a lot of people missing out on seeing their family & friends…..we’re all affected by this & have a story to tell so let’s all do what we need to do to get through this – I know we will all appreciate life a lot more & all of the things that we had before this hit us…..it’s true when they say – you don’t realise what you’ve got until it’s gone.

I’ve really enjoyed connecting with people over the last couple of weeks, not only to discuss vacancies, CV’s & to arrange interviews, but also to take the opportunity to have a chat, vent, debate & let people get things off their chest…….it’s good to talk!

We will all come out of this experience stronger & more appreciative…..we will have spent so much quality time with our children & our family unit.  Just think, when are we ever given this amount of time to just ‘be’ and slow down?…..never ! Soak it up, take the positives out of it & if we all do what we’re meant to be doing then we can all get back to ‘normal’.
